Sclerosing of Veins

Vein sclerosing is used to treat and eliminate varicose veins, that is, those swollen and twisted veins that can be seen just under the skin and sometimes cause pain.

The number of sessions necessary will depend on the number of varicose veins to be treated, as well as their caliber. In general, treated varicose veins disappear within a period of between 4 and 8 weeks after the end of treatment.

Vein sclerosing is carried out by introducing a fine needle with a medication that produces a controlled inflammatory reaction in the walls of the varicose vein in order to close it and thus cause its progressive disappearance.
